Coupons

I am NO extreme couponer or anything close.  I have bene using coupons for two months to try and save money.  In October I saved $50.  And in September it was around that too.  That is with just coupons.  I also buy things on sale.  So I probably save 75 a month.... no where near what I want to save though.  I am still learning on what works.  Some cashiers have no clue about coupons.  It can be stessful and frustrating at times.  Hopefully I will get better at couponing, I would like to save 200 a month.   There was an older lady in front of me yesterday that got  a cart full with NO coupons she only paid $108.  She used price matching and saved a ton.  All she bought was chicken, yogurt, juice, and something else but for the life of me I can't remember.  I love saving money, it is like a game to me.  I get a thrill out of it.  Maybe that means I don't have a life.  LOL!  :)

I {HEART} OKC

If you know me, you know I don't care for Oklahoma much at all.  And I am usually not that shy about it.  But I do love Oklahoma City.  I would rather live in OKC or even Midwest City, than where I live.  I find myself always wanting to go to the city.  There is just so much more to do in the city.  Small town life isn't for everyone.  And the older I get the more I see it isn't for me.  Small town life is the same people all the time, the same dramas.  Being in the city you don't normally run into the same old people.  Plus my favorite shopping stores are in OKC, my favorite cupcakes, the places I like taking photos of, etc... all in OKC.  Now don't get me wrong, I big puffy heart LOVE Florida!  I love California and Texas too!  I am a beach girl living in a land locked state.  But for the towns around here... OKC gets my vote!

A Trip to Dallas!!

Yesterday I woke up at 4:30 AM and left the house at 6AM with 6 small kids and we drove 200+ milesto Dallas. While there we went to Legoland Discovery Center in the Grapevine Mills Mall. We at the Rainforest Cafe inside the mall. And did some shopping while we were there. After that we went and ate at In N Out (my favorite!). And then drove 200+ miles back home. We got back home at 10:30 last night, it was a full day, but a lit of fun!!! As for the Rainforest, wow, that place is expensive. We got 4 kids hamburgers and one kid mac and cheese and two adults hamburgers, and drinks for us all and it was $80 dollars. And honestly the food wasn't very good. Not $80 dollars good! The restaurant is a lot of fun though. Every 10 minutes the animals move around, and every 20 minutes the lights start flashing and all the animals go crazy because of a "storm". My 3 year old had a blast in there! Legoland was great!! It costs us $97 in get in, and I had an online special. There was 4 rides for the kids, Samantha was too little for 2 of the rides. But she still had a lot of fun. The boys had a blast! I wish the lines weren't go long. We waited 30 minutes for rides. The mini city was the most fun for me, it was really neat! And of course In N Out was wonderful!!!! So yummy and I LOVE the palm trees! We all slept well last night, even Parker did, which is rare for him!

We arrived in Texas!!!

Happy baby in Texas!  He did great on the drive there, on the way home he wasn't pleased at all.  He cried a lot even though I stopped often to try and make him happy.  :(
