Pain

Today has been a hard day.  Nothing major has happened.  But I am hurt.  It amazes me how you can go from someone's love, even their wife to nothing so quickly.  How people try to hurt each other.  If you try to hurt me or my kids, then yes I will say things to get to you.  But to try to ruin someone's day is crappy, especially when it is their birthday.  I am glad yesterday is over, and today is almost done.  But not having someone you once cared for tell you Happy Birthday, something so simple... pain.  Like I have always said, things chance.  Everything changes.  And not always for the better.
