30 Days of Thankfulness- Day 30: I am thankful that I am almost done Christmas shopping, I only have 5 gifts left to buy.

Well Buzz decided to have some Halloween candy last night.  There were several wrappers laying around, and he had chocolate on his face.  Crazy little elf!

30 Days of Thankfulness- Day 29: I am thankful for being able to go back to school so I can better our lives someday.

Day 28 of 30 Days of Thankfulness

30 Days of Thankfulness- Day 28:  I am thankful for books.  I love reading.  I get lost in the book that I am reading, and when it is over sometimes I have a hard time moving on to another book.  Books are also important  for my children.  I encourage them to read often, and I am always reading to the younger ones.

Buzz was caught riding a motorcycle ornament this morning!  The younger kids thought that was the funniest thing they have ever seen.  :)

Day 27 of 30 Days of Thankfulness

30 Days of Thankfulness- Day 27: I am thankful for doctors.  I don't think that doctors know everything, but without them I wouldn't have my children.   I have a lot of health issues, so staying pregnant was a challenge.  And then this year I am not sure how my life would be without the doctor and all the testing I went through, that ended up with me having surgery.  So doctors and the whole medicial field are my thankfulness today.

Buzz decided we should have hot chocolate tonight since it is so COLD today!!  He got each kid a Charlie Brown Christmas cup, hot chocolate, and marshmallows.  Parker will be having yogurt!  :)

Today, I think Buzz was lonely yesterday since my older kids were not here.  So this morning, he was with Mickey and Minnie!!

Day 26 of 30 Days of Thankfulness

30 Days of Thankfulness- Day 26: I am thankful that I can multitask.  Everyday I multitask, and thankfully I am good at it.  From cooking meals while holding a baby, or helping a couple of kids with homework at the same time, or doing laundry while listening to my daughter argue with me, it is never boring.  :)

Day 25 of 30 Days of Thankfulness

30 Days of Thankfulness- Day 25: I am thankful for lazy days.  I don't get many lazy days, but I enjoy them when I get the chance.

Christmas Decorations

Here are some of our Christmas decorations.  I love decorating!!  I  need to still take photos of the outside since there are lights on the house. 

 

Our tree.  I need a tree topper someday, but I am VERY picky about the topper.  I have only found a couple that I like.

My skirt that I made.  I may add more ribbon but I am loving it!  It was worth the sore back,  burnt fingers, and burnt elbow.. don't ask!  LOL , lets just say that I shouldn't craft in my bed.  LOL!

The stockings, I need a new holder for mine.  And two stockings need names.  Hopefully soon!

A flower I made.  I actually have two like this.  And I am making a red one.

And the chandelier.  I love this!!  Thank-you Pinterest!!

 

I also have ornaments hanging in my living room.  And other small decorations out.

One Month Left

Only one month left till my little guy turns ONE!  :(  That makes me so sad.  I hate how fast it has gone by. 

 

 He is trying to walk, he can stand alone for a little while, he cruises everywhere, crawling super fast now, talking some (hi, hey, bubba, mama, dada, oh, uh oh, etc), he shakes his head yes and no, he loves clapping- he does that often, he likes patty cake, his red car, being held, he doesn't like strangers, or much in the way of baby food still, he loves bath time, he loves being outside and dogs, he hates sleep- he doesn't sleep well still. 

 

Day 24 of 30 Days of Thankfulness

30 Days of Thankfulness- Day 24: I am thankful for animals.  I have always had a love for animals, especially dogs and horses.

Buzz the Elf decided that the children, especially Samantha and Michael weren't good yesterday so he made a mess and decided to do some reading.   Maybe that's a sign that Michael should do some more reading.  :) 

 

Santa!

Last night we went to Bricktown, after a little bit of Black Friday shopping at PetsMart and Hobby Lobby.  We started working on our Christmas photos, and saw Christmas lights and Santa.  We got this photo for free last night!  :)

Day 23 of 30 Days of Thankfulness

30 Days of Thankfulness- Day 23: I am thankful for my baby brother.  He can always make me laugh, and is also there when I need him.

Elf on the Shelf has ARRIVED!!!

The elf on the shelf arrived at our house this morning.  The kids decided to name him Buzz.  Since he Buzzes around.  :)

This morning he arrived wearing balloons like he floated into the house, and he had a note with him!!  It was addressed to the children and explained to them that they need to be Nice.  The kids are super excited to see what Buzz does each day.   :)
