Baseball Season

Baseball season is over for us, but we had a great year.  The three boys improved so much, between practices and games, I would take them to a field and practice some more with them.  Their batting really improved. At the end of the older boys season, their coach went on vacation and I was asked to coach them, which I did.  I wasn't sure if I even wanted to coach or what to do with these kids, but we had fun and I actually enjoyed coaching.  Their last game was the teams best game, they played so well.  I think next season I will coach the whole season. We are looking forward to next year already.

Wild Card Game 2

Well the Rangers lost last night two.  My two teams beat in the wild card game.  I am still upset that both of my teams are out and upset with the MLB.  Honestly, the Braves wouldn't of played last night (nor would of Texas), but the MLB made up this new wild card game.  Always in the past there have been one team from each division (3 divisions) and one wild card... that was the Braves.  Well they decided to have two wild cards... dumb!  The Braves did play badly last night, very badly.  The calls were not in their favor.  And then during the game, the worst call ever.    Texas would of probably of been the wild card too which means they would not of played last night either.  Once again they didn't play well either.  But still, thanks to the MLB changing things.... I don't like change.  And there was nothing wrong with how it use to be.  And the umpires were just bad.  Now I will be rooting for the Baltimore Orioles and the Washington Nationals... at least for now, if they get beat out I will pick someone else to cheer for, but it won't be the Yankees.

Thank-you to Chipper Jones and all of his years as an Atlanta Braves player!  You will be missed and I am sure you will be back as some kind of coach.

To my Braves and Rangers- better luck next year!

Wild Card Game

During the Braves and Cardinals Wild Card game, that was the WORST CALL EVER!!!!!!!!  I have been watching baseball since 1992/1993 and I KNOW baseball.  And that was not in the in-field!  I can't stand cheating refs.  And that games was awful.  They gave it to the Cardinals.  All I can say is I hope the Cardinals get swept by the Washington Nationals this week!  I will be rooting for the Nationals!  I am still in shock over that game.

A Trip to Dallas!!

Yesterday I woke up at 4:30 AM and left the house at 6AM with 6 small kids and we drove 200+ milesto Dallas. While there we went to Legoland Discovery Center in the Grapevine Mills Mall. We at the Rainforest Cafe inside the mall. And did some shopping while we were there. After that we went and ate at In N Out (my favorite!). And then drove 200+ miles back home. We got back home at 10:30 last night, it was a full day, but a lit of fun!!! As for the Rainforest, wow, that place is expensive. We got 4 kids hamburgers and one kid mac and cheese and two adults hamburgers, and drinks for us all and it was $80 dollars. And honestly the food wasn't very good. Not $80 dollars good! The restaurant is a lot of fun though. Every 10 minutes the animals move around, and every 20 minutes the lights start flashing and all the animals go crazy because of a "storm". My 3 year old had a blast in there! Legoland was great!! It costs us $97 in get in, and I had an online special. There was 4 rides for the kids, Samantha was too little for 2 of the rides. But she still had a lot of fun. The boys had a blast! I wish the lines weren't go long. We waited 30 minutes for rides. The mini city was the most fun for me, it was really neat! And of course In N Out was wonderful!!!! So yummy and I LOVE the palm trees! We all slept well last night, even Parker did, which is rare for him!

We arrived in Texas!!!

Happy baby in Texas!  He did great on the drive there, on the way home he wasn't pleased at all.  He cried a lot even though I stopped often to try and make him happy.  :(
