13?!?!

How am I old enough to have a teenager??  Where in the world has the time gone?  It feels like yesterday that I had my oldest son, and now he is 13!! 

 

Last weekend, he had his birthday party which was a carnival theme party.  Here are some photos.

My handsome 13 year old!

Happy 1st Birthday!!!!

I cannot believe this little guy is already ONE!!  How did that happen?  Time goes by too fast.  Last year, he was placed in my arms after a every long pregnancy.  I went into labor at 27 weeks, which they stopped.  At the beginning of my pregnancy my numbers were only 7 and I wasn't even suppose to stay pregnant.  I had to do blood work twice a week to check my numbers, and started on medicines to try and keep me pregnancy (same thing with Samantha's pregnancy since I lost two before her).  But we made it to 36 weeks!  And then during labor, just like with Samantha I started running a fever of 103.8, his heart rate was over 220.  They gave me a lot of medicine while in labor to stop the fever which never worked.  I was also on oxygen with his labor, due to my oxygen level dropping in the 80s.  He was born at 12:53AM on the 24th!  My little Christmas miracle!  After he was born since he was so early he had to go get checked out since he was having a little issue breathing.  I wasn't allowed to go with him, since my blood pressure dropped to 70/30 and stayed there for almost 10 hours.  But thankfully they brought him to me after 2 hours and he has been with me ever since!  I can't imagine life without him!

One quicky photo of my little guy!  He is being silly today and won't sit still at all for photos but I wanted to try this.  He is also teething, and I have wiped his drool several times but it is still in my photo.  But I am liking this picture a lot right now.  He stopped to see something on the tv.  :)

One Month Left

Only one month left till my little guy turns ONE!  :(  That makes me so sad.  I hate how fast it has gone by. 

 

 He is trying to walk, he can stand alone for a little while, he cruises everywhere, crawling super fast now, talking some (hi, hey, bubba, mama, dada, oh, uh oh, etc), he shakes his head yes and no, he loves clapping- he does that often, he likes patty cake, his red car, being held, he doesn't like strangers, or much in the way of baby food still, he loves bath time, he loves being outside and dogs, he hates sleep- he doesn't sleep well still. 

 

Turkey Time!

My little Kindergartener is having a class program thing on Friday.  And each student in Kindergarten will be a turkey.  So we had to decorate his turkey however he wanted.. so he is a Batman Turkey!  Plus my little guy lost two teeth, his first two a couple of days ago!  He now won't look like a baby anymore.  :(
