Post season!

I really love this time if year.  Pumpkins, cooler weather, boots, long socks, hot chocolate, and of course baseball postseason!!! I have to say it isn't going like I thought though.  Well in a way it isn't.  I have been saying for 2 months that Boston Red Sox are going to win the World Series.  That's still possible.  The Texas rangers didn't make it to the post season. :(  and of course my braves got beat in round one. Why in the world do they always choke???  Ugh.  Bad pitching and coaching will do that to you.  So now it is the cardinals (gag) vs the dodgers for national league. I'll be cheering for the dodgers.  And the American League is the Red Sox and the Detroit tigers.  I'll be cheering for the Red Sox.  If the Dodgers and Red Sox go to the World Series I'll be cheering for the Red Sox (they are my other favorite team). I have three teams. The Braves are my fave always will be, the. Rangers and Red Sox.  If the Red Sox get beat out ill cheer for the dodgers (I'm a Michael young fan). If they also get beat out ill cheer for the tigers. I won't be cheering for the cardinals. I would rather cut my tongue out. Lol. :)

I'm going to soak in these last few weeks of baseball.

Then I'll be watching the OKC Thunder and the Dallas Cowboys.

Gigi's Sooner Victory Cupcake

First off, I can't stand the Oklahoma Sooners.  I don't really like college football, but I hate the Sooners.  I actually have a photo where I put the longhorn up right.  :)  Not that I a longhorn fan either.  Anyway, on to the cupcake.  This is from Gigi's (http://www.gigiscupcakesusa.com/home) Chocolate cupcake, and icing.  With red sprinkles and pearl looking things.  Wonderful cupcake!  Could easily be a Christmas cupcake.  It was really good!

Wild Card Game 2

Well the Rangers lost last night two.  My two teams beat in the wild card game.  I am still upset that both of my teams are out and upset with the MLB.  Honestly, the Braves wouldn't of played last night (nor would of Texas), but the MLB made up this new wild card game.  Always in the past there have been one team from each division (3 divisions) and one wild card... that was the Braves.  Well they decided to have two wild cards... dumb!  The Braves did play badly last night, very badly.  The calls were not in their favor.  And then during the game, the worst call ever.    Texas would of probably of been the wild card too which means they would not of played last night either.  Once again they didn't play well either.  But still, thanks to the MLB changing things.... I don't like change.  And there was nothing wrong with how it use to be.  And the umpires were just bad.  Now I will be rooting for the Baltimore Orioles and the Washington Nationals... at least for now, if they get beat out I will pick someone else to cheer for, but it won't be the Yankees.

Thank-you to Chipper Jones and all of his years as an Atlanta Braves player!  You will be missed and I am sure you will be back as some kind of coach.

To my Braves and Rangers- better luck next year!

I {HEART} OKC

If you know me, you know I don't care for Oklahoma much at all.  And I am usually not that shy about it.  But I do love Oklahoma City.  I would rather live in OKC or even Midwest City, than where I live.  I find myself always wanting to go to the city.  There is just so much more to do in the city.  Small town life isn't for everyone.  And the older I get the more I see it isn't for me.  Small town life is the same people all the time, the same dramas.  Being in the city you don't normally run into the same old people.  Plus my favorite shopping stores are in OKC, my favorite cupcakes, the places I like taking photos of, etc... all in OKC.  Now don't get me wrong, I big puffy heart LOVE Florida!  I love California and Texas too!  I am a beach girl living in a land locked state.  But for the towns around here... OKC gets my vote!

A Trip to Dallas!!

Yesterday I woke up at 4:30 AM and left the house at 6AM with 6 small kids and we drove 200+ milesto Dallas. While there we went to Legoland Discovery Center in the Grapevine Mills Mall. We at the Rainforest Cafe inside the mall. And did some shopping while we were there. After that we went and ate at In N Out (my favorite!). And then drove 200+ miles back home. We got back home at 10:30 last night, it was a full day, but a lit of fun!!! As for the Rainforest, wow, that place is expensive. We got 4 kids hamburgers and one kid mac and cheese and two adults hamburgers, and drinks for us all and it was $80 dollars. And honestly the food wasn't very good. Not $80 dollars good! The restaurant is a lot of fun though. Every 10 minutes the animals move around, and every 20 minutes the lights start flashing and all the animals go crazy because of a "storm". My 3 year old had a blast in there! Legoland was great!! It costs us $97 in get in, and I had an online special. There was 4 rides for the kids, Samantha was too little for 2 of the rides. But she still had a lot of fun. The boys had a blast! I wish the lines weren't go long. We waited 30 minutes for rides. The mini city was the most fun for me, it was really neat! And of course In N Out was wonderful!!!! So yummy and I LOVE the palm trees! We all slept well last night, even Parker did, which is rare for him!

We arrived in Texas!!!

Happy baby in Texas!  He did great on the drive there, on the way home he wasn't pleased at all.  He cried a lot even though I stopped often to try and make him happy.  :(
