{Meet Charlie}

This is Charlie, or Charlie Brown.  He is a Pointer.  He looks pretty close to full blood to me, he has great markings and a beautiful coat.  He is a dog that we are fostering until he finds his forever home.  He is about 8-9 months old, that is what the vet is guessing.  A male.  He is really skinny right now, so we are working on fattening him up.  He is really sweet, but very scared of noises.  I am not sure how he would do with hunting, I am not a hunter and won't be training him for that.  I am not sure when he will be ready for adoption.  As of right now, he we are working on learning some manners.  Such as crate training, no jumping, and normal social skills for a young dog.  I am fostering him through http://sparshawnee.org/ if you are interested in meeting him!

Day 4 of 30 days of Thankfulness

30 days of thankfulness- Day four: I am thankful for the internet.   I do so much on the internet- pay bills, post photos, facebook, school, check my children's grades, etc.. I can't imagine life without it now.

The pumpkin patch in the children's area at the Myriad... we LOVED it!!!  It was super cold (30's), but it was so cute and fun!   We will be going back next year for sure!

Day 3 of 30 Days of Thankfulness

30 days of thankfulness- Day three: I am thankful for my parents.  Without them I wouldn't be here. 

Name!!!

First off let me just say I hate name issues!  I loved naming my children.  Jeez, I could probably give someone a list of baby names right now, names that I never used.  But my photography "business" AKA hobby needs a name.  Here is the list I have used so far.

Hello, it shouldn't be THIS hard to decide on a name.  Why in the world am I so indecisive?!?!?!

I even thought I should add one of my kids, but that doesn't seem right.  Leave out 5 and add one.  No.  So what am I going to do.

Most of my favorite photographers use their first and last name.  It looks normal.  Now a few do make up a name.  I know I want to use my first name (even though I hate my first name).  The other part... I don't know.  I have been through a divorce before and I don't want to just use my husband's last name just in case.  I know that sounds bad, but I don't want to have to change my business name again. 

I also don't want to upset anyone. 

With that being said.  My favorites are.

Malania Hammer Photography (because that is how it started.  My oldest 5 were my inspiration).

Day 2 of 30 Days of Thankfulness

Day two: I am thankful for our home.  A lot of people don't have a home, and I am so grateful that we do.

Yesterday on Facebook I started my 30 days of thankfulness but I have decided to post them here too.  So this this yesterdays.

30 days of thankfulness- Day one: I am thankful for my children. They are my world. I am thankful for each one of them, their personalities, the messes they make, their health, even the attitudes they give me because that is what makes them who they are. ♥ them to much!
