Hell's Kitchen Thoughts

Um, wow!  It has been a while since I have been on here.  I thought I posted from my phone at some point, but maybe not.  Time is going by fast!

So I have been a "fan" of Hell's Kitchen for a few years now.  I believe I have a love/ hate relationship with the show.  Some of the contestants drive me crazy though! I should of done this at the beginning, but I forgot.  Here are the remaining contestants and who I like and who could go!

Girls

Amanda- She is ok, it seems.  I don't see her to win it though. I don't think she gets enough TV time. But she doesn't get into a lot of trouble either.

Cyndi- She is also ok, it seems like she know how what she is doing. She also doesn't get into a lot of trouble.

Ja'nel- I actually like her.  I think she knows what she is doing.  She doesn't get into a lot of trouble either.  For the girls, she is the one that I like the best!

Jacqueline- Goodbye!!!  I can't stand her!  She thinks she is a good cook, and she sucks.  I don't see her to make it too much farther.

Mary- Bye, bye!  If for no other reason, than you have to go for your voice.  Sorry.  It's annoying!  Nor do I think she can cook.

Nedra- I like her!!  I don't think she will win it, but she is so funny!!  I hope she sticks around for a while for the laughs!

Susan- After last night, bye.  I think she is fake and likes to blame others.  I have no use for people like that, nor do I believe she can cook.

Boys

Anthony- One of my favorites!  I think he is a good cook and knows his stuff in the kitchen. I see him to go far.

Barrett- I don't see for him to make it that much farther.  I don't mind him, but I don't think he is a leader.

Dan- Don't let the door hit you on the way out!!!!  Good bye!  I can't stand this guy.  I keep saying if he sticks around much longer I am going to stop watching.  He has such a big head and screws up more than anyone!

Jon- He is ok, I don't see for him to win it though.

Michael- He is my favorite over all contestant!  I like him!  I think he is a leader and a good cook.

Ray- I don't have anything against Ray, but I don't see for him to make it much farther at all.  Each week I am surprised that he is still around.

Zack- I like him, he is one of my favorites too!  Seems like he knows what he is doing and is funny on top of it!

Those are just my opinions, and really what do I know?  :)

Hell's Kitchen

So who all watched Hell’s Kitchen?? (http://www.fox.com/hellskitchen/)   I have watched it for several years now. I enjoy the show, I love to see the chefs to be, and Gordon Ramsay and his attitude.

This season, I had my favorites and least favorites after the first episode. My favorites, Dana, Justin, and Christina. My least favorites Robyn and Royce. I quickly started not liking Barbie too.

As for the final episode… wow! If you haven’t seen the last one, then stop reading here…. Spoiler!

First off, I was pretty surprised that the final two were Justin and Christina. I figured it would be Justin and Dana. But it was still fine with me. During the last episode I knew that Justin had to win. He had been a strong leader from early on. He lead the blue team, and just kept getting better. During the final episode Christina told all the past chefs to not call her “Chef” that she wouldn’t reply… umm hello???? Isn’t that the reason she was there? To be head Chef! I don’t think she lead her group all that well at all. So at the end, when she walked through the door, I think about had a heart attack. I honestly think Justin was a stronger chef, even a better chef. I think the show gave it to Christina. I don’t think she will ever last as a head chef. She just isn’t bossy enough. She tries to be “buddies” with the other cooks. I am glad she won over several of the other chefs to be. And wish her the best of luck!

Since she won, I swore I wouldn’t watch it again.  But we will see when the time comes. I actually already miss it.

Lesson Of The Day

Today I went to Wal-mart, no big surprise there! It seems like I am always at Wal-mart. I am not a fan of double sacking, I think it is a waste and I am some what eco friendly. Well today I learned why you double sack!! After I got home and was hurrying to put away the groceries, all while the 8 month old was screaming at me, I had two sacks to go. The 2 liters of Sprite…. I grabbed both sacks quickly and didn’t notice that one sack was ripped until there was an explosion! I knew a sprite had fallen, but then things got crazy!! The bottle busted open and ended up hitting the dishwasher which knocked the door open. Everything was banging! I just stood there, stunned!! I couldn’t even find words. After things calmed down and the bottle was dead. I actually checked myself to make sure I wasn’t hurt, nope not hurt… just covered in Sprite. And I don’t think the 8 month old even noticed what was going on, since he was too busy screaming at me. Ahhh the joys of being a mom. So the lesson for today is always double sack pop!
